Q : First symbol - Level of Q Is the Level of Quality that is present in any situation at the moment of observation. Q is an absolute number; a measurement of the output X : Second Symbol – Level of X Stands for Level of eXcellence, which is everything we FEEL = Attitudes, Values, Motivations, Dreams, Perceptions, Culture, etc. S : Third symbol – Level of S Stands for the Level of Systems that we have, are, build and follow. Systems always consist of and belong to other main- and sub-systems.
Not Only One ~ ALL Together : QXS   No single element of the formula can be forgotten, ignored or over-extended. Together the levels of Q, X and S make up a comprehensive NEW unit – QXS. Each element affects each other, therefore constantly driving our level of QXS (Success) higher or lower.     The Critical Factor : QXS   X is the critical factor in the QXS™-formula because it is the only one that can be NEGATIVE. Thus X is the critical nominator in setting the direction of the trend – Which can be either UP or DOWN, (positive or negative). Due to its central place X also easily becomes the bottleneck and limiting factor.     X affecting S : QXS   Depending on the level of X of the person and/or organization we either build and follow Systems or not. A high level of X will automatically lead to Systematic thinking and an increased willingness to follow and improve dittos. The reverse is naturally also true.     S affecting back on X : QXS   The level of systems we use will affect back on our level of X. E.g. when we are systematic and organized our self-esteem increases (we are “in control” ) and vise versa, of course.     S and X leading to Q : QXS   Q is therefore only the result of our level of Xcellence and the level of Systems that we have. Quality itself cannot be produced – Only measured and demanded.     Q affecting back on X : QXS   The level of our Quality (output) will again affect our level of Xcellence.     A Never-Ending Cycle   The holistic flow between the three magic symbols of Q , X and S creates another mathematical magic symbol: ∞ = Infinity.
